Sunday, March 1, 2026 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hosts: SURJ (Showing up for Radical Justice)
Purpose: Right now is the time to intervene. To step up. To move our people.
As the Trump Administration continues to deploy violent ICE agents to our nation's cities, we remain clear and centered on the following truths:
White working class Americans have so much to gain by standing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors.
Trump’s aggressive and violent deployment of ICE is causing many white working class communities to re-evaluate their views and beliefs on immigration.
Listening-forward conversations that support people to reflect on their values, feelings and experiences can shift their attitudes, perspective and behavior.
That's why we're channeling these truths into a powerful action that you can take with us.
Join SURJ to talk to key white working class voters about their feelings on Trump’s immigration policies and deployment of ICE in the key congressional districts that will determine control of the House in the 2026 elections.
Together, we can move the needle and build power. No prior experience needed – we’ll provide all the resources, training and support you need to phone bank with us to have these critical conversations at a critical juncture for shaping public opinion and our society’s commonsense beliefs around immigration policy

Block by Block: How We Win Against ICE & Authoritarianism in 2026
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Central Time
Hosts: SURJ (Showing up for Radical Justice)
Purpose: A month in, 2026 has been a hard year. ICE has invaded Minneapolis, terrorized neighborhoods, and murdered people in the streets. Trump has invaded Venezuela abroad and threatened the Insurrection Act at home. It feels like every day, the temperature rises.
But we can still turn the tide. While authoritarian consolidation is on the rise, we are not past the point of no return – experts still agree that with coordinated mass action can stop it. As white people, we have a role to play and a responsibility to the movement: we have to organize ourselves and our people, we have to have the uncomfortable conversations to bring people into resistance, we have to build bigger and be bolder than we have before.
Join us for the public launch of SURJ National's strategy and organizing plan for 2026. We will outline our key strategies and tactics, the shape of our organizing, and what roles you can play in it. We don't know everything: some moments will emerge, and we'll have to respond to them. But we know enough to make a plan and act on it. And we know that we need all of us to win.
This is a call for everyone who considers themselves a leader or a member of SURJ – all are welcome. Join us, bring your chapter or your circle, bring your neighbors and your family. We've got work to do.
Source: Email from SURJ - SURJ Website
REGISTRATION: mobilize.us/surj/event/894072
Notes: Though we’re not advertising this Launch Call publicly, this event is for any currently active members of SURJ, whether at the local level or national level, including chapter members, circle members, and national members – so if you know someone who should’ve gotten the invite but didn’t, please invite them!

What’s the Plan? A Weekly Discussion with Indivisible’s Co-Founders
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Central Time)
Hosts: Indivisible National
Purpose: The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back.
Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week, as we carve out an hour to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan.
Most of the hour is left open to Q&A, so submit your questions in the Q&A function during the call. We have a wide variety of opportunities for you to help with, and we are also open to new ideas! Come join us!

RECOGNIZING AND FIGHTING THE LATEST BOOK BAN TACTICS
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Hosts: Red, Wine & Blue - TroubleMaker Training
Purpose: Book bans aren’t slowing down — they’re evolving with a sneakier strategy that often flies under the radar. Across the country, extremist politicians and advocacy groups are rolling out new strategies to quietly pull books from shelves, intimidate educators, and control what kids are allowed to learn. Data shows a disturbing normalization of censorship with thousands of books banned in just the past year alone. Join us to hear from Kelly Jensen of Book Riot and Sabrina Baêta of PEN America as we discuss the newest trends and tactics driving today’s book bans and how communities can recognize them and fight back. See you there!

CUSS AND CRAFT WITH RED WINE & BLUE OHIO
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Hosts: Red, Wine & Blue - Ohio
Purpose: It’s been quite the year already, and you need a place to unwind, uncork, and maybe unleash a well-placed four-letter word or two. Join your favorite fierce females for a midday craft session where hot glue meets hot takes, and crafting gets cathartic. We’ll be sipping, snipping, venting, and stitching — because nothing says “I’m holding it together” like screaming into felt and rhinestones while your glittery wine glass says “F*** it” in cursive. Whether your day’s been full of laundry, legislation, or just low patience for patriarchy, this is your space to rage-glitter and rebel-glue with women who get it. No experience necessary — just bring your sass, your stress, and your favorite swear-friendly craft idea. We’ll provide solidarity. You bring the “darn it,” we’ll bring the “do it.”

Pramila Jayapal's MARCH Resistance Lab: Virtual Organizing Training
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Central Time
Hosts: Pramilaforcongress
Purpose: The Resistance Lab is a series of trainings that are developed specifically for this moment. In this first lab, we look at how non-violent movements around the world have responded to leaders who seize power in authoritarian ways and the most effective tools and tactics to utilize in these moments. We offer frameworks to understand this moment at home, and incorporate interactive conversation with others to help create community and build our resistance movement.
The Resistance Lab was developed with experts who have researched and studied democratic backsliding around the world as well as in the United States and the non-violent movements that have emerged to challenge those authoritarian leaders. We also draw from many toolkits for effective tactics and frameworks as well as from Pramila’s own background leading successful organizing movements for economic and social justice for two decades.
Our goals are to help people understand how democracies fall and the most effective resistance movements that have challenged authoritarians and dictators; to turn anger, fear and frustration into action in the short-term while also preparing for a coordinated resistance movement for the longer term; and to build community across the country that can help grow our movement. At the end of the day, we want to get people strike-ready and street-ready and make sure we protect our people, our freedoms and our democracy.
With Trump and his MAGA billionaires doubling down on their attacks on the economic livelihoods of people to thrive and on our democracy, we can’t afford to sit this moment out. This is about building real power together. And it starts with you.
RSVP TODAY and secure your spot! You’ll receive the ZOOM link closer to the event date. And don’t forget to share this with your network!

Hosts: Coalition of Groups
Purpose: We are the many. They are the few. And we will not be silent. Mark your calendars for NO WORK. NO SCHOOL. NO SHOPPING. MAY 1ST 2026.
This regime is terrorizing our cities and dropping bombs on Venezuela. We stand united against the occupation of other countries and our cities on behalf of a handful of billionaires. The Trump regime is seizing control of the mineral and energy wealth of Venezuela and handing it over to Big Oil.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s ICE militia is attacking our communities while enriching private prison corporations and the Silicon Valley companies that sell Trump surveillance tech.
None of what this regime is doing is about making our lives better. It’s about billionaires making themselves richer no matter the human cost.
