The Day After meeting #1
Today is the day after our first Community Together 417 Group Leader Community Meeting! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. For everyone that joined us at both the library and on Zoom last night, overall, I think it went pretty darn good for going from an idea to reality in 13 days. What did you think? First, wow isn’t Jess Piper AMAZING! Her passion and fight is contagious. If you aren’t following her, please check her out on FACEBOOK or almost any other social media platform. TikTok (jesspipermo) is where I found her and KNEW she was my kinda girl! And with Substack you can get daily emails. THANK YOU to the groups that were able to participate on such a short notice! 50501 Missouri, Mayday Movement USA, Indivisible In The Ozarks, Speak Up, Clean Earth 4 Kids, Abortion Action Missouri, Missouri Jobs with Justice, Stop Project 2025 USA, Greene County Democrats, 417 Progressive Businesses and Events. You did an amazing job telling our community who you are, your accomplishments and how they can get involved. Respect MO Voters and PROMO both had legislation emergencies come up and pulled them away and they couldn’t attend, but please go to the groups page and find out more about all of them and more groups in the area. Zoom… thank you so much for participating! Admittedly there were technical difficulties, and we appreciate your understanding. We are on a learning curve and each event will be better the camera set up for sure will be improved.
